Create a piece of functional art with Bridget Veld from Ivy&Coco.  

Start your experience with a walk-through of Ivy&Coco’s inner-city boho retail space and studio. Brimming with indoor plants, dried flowers, and colourful wares, the studio provides the ideal setting to paint and decorate your own ceramic vase or pot. 

Learn how to apply different paints on various mediums and gain an understanding of how colours and patterns evoke different emotions. Then use your own intuition, favourite colour palettes or your unleashed creativity to paint a pot or vase that you can take home and display proudly.  


In this informative, fun and relaxing environment, you will be learn the tips and tricks from a working artist, who has built a recognisable brand from the ground up.


For this workshop you are able to BYO drinks and nibbles to keep your artistic flair fuelled! 


WHAT’S INCLUDED 


  • Each participant will take home their ceramic vase or pot (vase is approximately 23cm (h), or pot 16cm (h) x 18cm)  

  • Access to tools and materials in the studio, including quality paints, brushes and an apron  


WHAT TO BRING 


  • Wear enclosed shoes and something you don’t mind getting paint on (aprons will be provided). 


  • BYO drinks and snacks - we will supply the glassware and platters

Please note there are two steps to access the building from the street level.  


PLEASE NOTE: This event is BYO - A liquor licence is not required to operate a BYO venue (Liquor Act 2007), however Ivy&Coco Studio take precautions to operate responsibly at our workshops. 


It is illegal for a person to supply liquor to a minor to drink liquor in a BYO venue.

Ivy&Coco was established in 2018 by busy mum Bridget Veld. To nurture her creativity, Bridget painted pots and vases at her dining room table and sold them at markets around the region. Ivy&Coco has since evolved into a boutique homewares store and studio in central Ballarat.
